Just because prom ends at midnight does not necessarily mean that you have to stop the night there.
Whether you and some of your friends are looking for a bite to eat or want to release that inner wild child, here are a few places to extend that special prom night.
The Night Owl
Located within a five mile driving distance from Downtown Disney, this small and cozy cafe is a great place to hangout and relax after you spent all your energy dancing the night away.
Open until 3:00 a.m. daily, this place offers a wide variety of mixed berry drinks, teas, coffees and pastries. The Night Owl offers reasonable prices and a relaxing atmosphere, making it the perfect location to wind down after prom. Not only is it close to where prom will be, but it provides a soothing setting as well.
The cafe is a great alternative if you want to spend some quiet time sipping some coffee or nibbling on a pastry. You can rest up there before heading home and calling it a night.
Roscoe’s Famous Deli
If you’re craving something to eat but don’t know where to go, try stopping by Roscoe’s Famous Deli for some sandwiches. Also located within five miles from Downtown Disney, Roscoe’s has always been a favorite of mine for their stacked sandwiches and potato salad that are to die for.
This deli is open until 2:00 a.m. every day of the week, and the food and surroundings are both great and lively. Customer service is excellent, but more importantly, the food is sure to satisfy. It’s both filling and delicious. I highly recommend their Soco sandwich: a wonderful blend of pastrami, corned beef, cheese and reuben dressing.
Joy Karaoke
If you still have plenty of energy left to burn and you’re looking for something more exciting to do after prom, why not hit up a karaoke place with friends? This is a great way to have fun, let loose and watch other people embarrass themselves.
Joy Karoake is ocated within four blocks of downtown Disney, and is open until 2:00 a.m. during the weekends. You can split the cost per room with a group of friends and sing your hearts out until you are all satisfied.
