People often underestimate how much time and effort teachers dedicate outside of school hours to grade tests. 35 teachers from the academic department participated in Rampage’s poll, which asked the average amount of time it takes to grade one class set of tests or essays, excluding Scantrons. The staff that participated included: nine math teachers, seven science teachers, four history teachers, six language teachers, and nine English teachers.
