Boys Water Polo
Defending its overall record of 12-10, the Boys Varsity Water Polo team reigned victorious on Oct.10 over Newbury Park, winning 7-6, and Don Lugo, winning 6-5. The team plans to achieve its goal of winning league by gaining more experience and improving its team chemistry.

Girls Volleyball
The Girls Varsity Volleyball team is working to turn around its overall score of 4-9.
Recently losing 3-0 to La Cañada on Oct. 8, it is working to not only improve individual skills, but also communication skills as a team.
“During the game we lose our positive energy,” said Sophomore Michelle Vuong. “So in practice we keep talking and encouraging each other.”

Boys Football
Although the Boys Varsity Football team has an overall record of 2-4, it is taking every game as a learning experience. The team lost 65-6 against San Marino on Oct. 9 and 23-6 against La Cañada on Oct. 16. Due to a small amount of available players, the team is working on learning new positions by playing both offensive and defensive positions.

Girls Tennis
With an overall score of 5-4, the Girls Varsity Tennis team continues to work hard towards a successful season. Despite its 15-3 loss against San Marino on Sept. 29, it recovered with a 15-3 win against Monrovia. With the addition of several new Varsity members, the team plans to gain experience by attending more practice matches in order to qualify for C.I.F.
