Wildfires in California

Wildfires have been proportionately increasing with global warming since the 1980’s in both duration and frequency. Because of the excessively dry weather, fires are more likely to ignite by heat of the sun.
The National Weather Service has issued red-flag warnings in the state of California for the weekend of Oct. 14. Critical fire weather conditions are expected in the Santa Clarita Valley, San Fernando Valley and the Santa Monica Mountains, which would affect the air quality in the San Gabriel Valley.
