“I play singles in tennis and wasn’t in a team before; being a part of varsity tennis taught me how you have to look out for others. When I have no motivation, I think of all the time that I’ve spent and all the other people who have given so much for me, and I know that stopping is not worth it at all.”

“Codely started during COVID-19. Things have been changing, but I feel like the most important part about growth is learning from mistakes and changing them for the better. We hope that our elementary school students get interested in computer science and we really want our tutors to use their potential to help teach others. The way the students look forward to our classes is very inspiring.”

—Senior Tony Tong

“In the beginning of freshman year, I took Digital Imaging and got introduced to the world of Photoshop. My favorite style is making rough brushstrokes that become an overall image when you zoom out.  It’s really cool because it has a personal touch to it. From Photoshop, I’ve learned it’s okay to make the same mistake twice. Nobody is watching you.”
