Activism for ceasefire

“Sharing and reposting videos is how I am able to help maintain activism. I think it’s important to spread awareness even though it doesn’t directly affect us. The more people that know what’s happening, the higher possibility there is for the government to respond.”

—Senior Hayley Tang

“Personally I don’t partake in these boycotts. I feel like people should focus on more effective means of protesting the conflict like protesting the government. A company can bleed a few million dollars and a couple hundred thousand customers but a government can’t.”

—Sophomore Aidan Guan

“I do boycott Starbucks and McDonald’s, since there are so many other local businesses I can buy from instead. The main form of protest I partake in is signing petitions, writing to our district representatives and sending emails to our senators.”
