German Play: “The Sound of Music”
German 3,4, and AP students performed their adaptation of “The Sound of Music” in the Media Center on June 1. German teacher Ms. Judy Graunke wrote the script during spring break, and although the production does not replace finals, students will be graded based on participation: singing, acting, and helping out with background and props. Five years ago, Ms. Graunke came up with the idea after meeting Lance Davis, who owns a theatre in Pasadena, and condenses long movies into hour long plays.
