Animal Crossing: New Horizons is a life simulation game where you create your personal getaway island and befriend animals along the way. The game itself costs $59.99 on a Nintendo Switch; however, as an alternative, you can download Animal Crossing Pocket Camp for free with a mobile device. On the mobile app, you can customize your own campsite, but some features are narrowed to accommodate the game.
Osu! is a free rhythm PC game that consists of four game modes: standard, taiko, catch and mania. Standard is the most popular game mode where the player clicks circles according to the beat of the music. Although it may be a difficult game in the beginning, it can become more enjoyable as you improve.
Shows/Movies
“Train to Busan” on Netflix is a suspenseful Korean horror movie about a father and daughter struggling to survive on a train with other passengers during a zombie outbreak in South Korea.
“The Good Place” on Netflix and Hulu is a comedy show about a woman in the afterlife who finds herself in the “good place,” knowing that she was sent there by mistake. She tries her best to fit into the perplexity society filled with abnormal people. This show is great to watch when in need of a mood-lifter and stress reliever.
“Frozen 2” on Disney Plus is a fantasy film about the queen of Arendelle and her friends on a dangerous journey to save the kingdom from unknown elemental forces. Along the way, she discovers the mysteries of her family and how her magical powers came to be. Although the movie may be directed towards a younger audience, it can be enjoyed with the family regardless of age.
