Fall for seasonal favorites this upcoming autumn

Instead of sipping sweet lemonade, wearing cooling summer dresses and knotting my hair up into a messy bun, I’ll be warming up with aromatic tea, bundling up with warm circle scarves an lighting scented candles.

During the fall, I prefer warming myself up after a busy day at school with a cup of piping hot tea. I love the feeling of holding the warm cup between my hands and breathing in the steam wafting from the surface of the drink. I enjoy almost anything that has a pumpkin spice flavor to it, including tea. The tea gives off a relaxing effect and gives me the refresher I need to finish up homework and other assignments. On the bonus side, tea is also proven to help fight diabetes and control stress levels.

Not only do I love tea, but I love pumpkin pie as well. Something about the way the pumpkin, the cinnamon and the nutmeg spices come together brings me back to Thanksgiving dinner with my family. It gives me a taste of the holiday season right around the corner and recalls the fond memories of previous years.

In addition, candles create such comfortable atmospheres, and I love the feeling of coming home to the scent of lit candles floating through the air. They also add a nice decorative touch to home décor, and bring a light touch to any room. Placing a few small pumpkins and red, orange or yellow leaves around candles creates a festive, fall look.

Although I love wearing light tops and summer skirts, autumn weather gives me a much-needed reprieve from the scorching heat. To break away from throwing on a simple dress to battle the heat waves during the summer, I like to go for the layered look to wave off the windy weather during the last few months of the year. Circle scarves, or infinity scarves, are absolute necessities to my fall wardrobe. Not only are they simple to wear, but they pair easily with a variety of clothing items.

During the cold season, my favorite go-to look is an oversized sweater, a circle scarf (because I’m simply in love with scarves), dark jeans, or a circle skirt with leggings, and boots. This look is seemingly effortless, and it is both cozy and cute.
