It’s easy to pack a lunch into your morning routine

Ratatouille’s motto that “Anyone can cook” may be a bit optimistic, but anyone can at least pack a lunch. Here are some quick, simple options that cater to a variety of students.

The Chronic Vacationer

Every lunch period is a vacation with this combo. Slice the cheddar cheese, salami and avocado into strips before stuffing them into a folded leaf of lettuce.

Prep Time: 8 Minutes
• 3 large leaves of lettuce
• Cheddar cheese
• Salami
• 1 sliced avocado
• 1 Hawaiian Bread roll
• Bunch of grapes
• Thermos of water

The Food Donor

For those who like sharing (or have friends that steal their lunch anyway), this lunch is perfect. Put together multiple bags of trail mix over the weekend to cut down on prep time.
Prep Time: 7 Minutes

• 1 peanut butter and honey sandwich
• DIY trail mix (almonds, raisins and M&M’s)
• Handful of cherry tomatoes
• 2 tangerines
• 2 Capri Sun juice pouches

The Health-Conscious

The ideal quick lunch: healthy, easy to prepare and surprisingly satisfying. Spread the hummus on the pita bread, and use it as a dip for the carrots and celery.

Prep Time: 2 ½ Minutes
• 2 slices of pita bread
• Handful of baby carrots
• 2 stalks of celery
• 1 apple
• 1 container of hummus
• Thermos of water

The Cheap Burrito Enthusiast

Craving Chipotle? Here’s how to make your very own burrito. Portion the chili onto the tortillas and add shredded string cheese, fritos and hot sauce for zest.
Prep Time: 2 Minutes
• 3 tortillas
• 1 pull-tab can of chili
• 1 bag of Fritos
• 1 string cheese
• Hot Sauce (Sriracha, Tabasco, etc.)
• Thermos of iced milk
• Paper plate

The Late-Night Crammer

Up all night working and just want to get through the day? Combining all of these ingredients into a makeshift s’more will keep you going (at your own risk).
Prep Time: 1 Minute
• 1 jar of peanut butter
• 1 jar of Nutella
• 1 sleeve of graham crackers
• 1 banana
• 1 can of Coke Zero
